Collaborative Practice East Bay is a team of lawyers, mental health professionals, and financial professionals who approach resolving conflicts in a friendly and collaborative way. I created a logo for them that would symbolize a brighter future ahead, and evoke the rolling hills of the San Francisco East Bay, where they are located.

One of the challenges of this project was that if you’re seeking Collaborative Practice then you are likely going through hard times – like figuring out how to get through a divorce and settle custody decisions. They wanted a site that would be taken seriously, but neither looks too depressing nor too dismissive of a difficult period in people’s lives. With strategic use of stock imagery along with a hopeful logo, I achieved a respectful yet uplifting design.
